Apparently, converting lat. and long. coordinates to mileage is not so straight forward. I think long. is the toughest, because you have to factor in the cosine of the latitude?
I follow the spot map every day. In fact, I’m a little nervous now because you haven’t sent a signal since Tuesday. But I figure that you two are probably up to no good. JC is probably trading his tent for a pint of Old Thompson, and JT swapped his Lackee and Joy’s sponsorship to one from Turkey Dip.
…Update from Seattle…
KNasty and Jen. Jo. are in town. I’m getting free lunch today for presenting at the Center for Interdisciplinary Geriatric Research. I’ll be in Chicago and Milwaukee over 4th of July. Since Z will be off athletic code, I’ll be his legal guardian. Taryn and Callan may visit Seattle this summer. The garden is roaring, but I think we have either a pest of fungus among us. Time to quarantine the artichokes and purple Cauliflower.

Hello. Hope all is going well on he trail. I don’t know either of you but stumbled upon this a few weeks back. I’m planning my first through camping of the app trail later in the season. Just from georgia to erwin. But I enjoy you’re updates and are following you along your journey. I was hiking parts of the trail trying out my new pack just last week while camping in the Hot Springs area. Well be safe and continue the courage to stick it out through the tough times. In the end it will all be worth it.
